It's hard to tell without seeing the fish, but my advice would be to buy a pet shop drug I ANF that other addresses and other fungal infections. Also allowed to test strip ammonia to determine the level of ammonia is not high. We hope that your fish will be better soon!

This may be the beginning of Columnaris infection - and it gets light, it is "fuzzy" and has the common name of "disease of cotton mouth" and "disease of cotton." It is a bacterial infection and must be treated with an antibiotic will also kill any beneficial bacteria in the tank, but open the possibility of ammonia poisoning in fish.

Until the user to identify what you are trying to add any drugs. Using the wrong thing can do more harm than goo that the wrong medication before the addition of good because it is usually not a good idea to do drug mix should be removed. Instead, some non-iodized salt in the tank to try to add 1 teaspoon per gallon. This will help if the problem is the fungus, and can leave when you treat with antibiotics (unless you use, the lab in the woods, which is already salt in it).

Some photos for comparison:

http://www.fishdeals.com / fish_diseases / c ... - Advanced and the flesh around the mouth

I is a parasite that is a point disticnt goal of the grain size of the salt, and added several other points. No information about the PCI in the previous link and information here: http://www.skepticalaquarist.com/docs/he ...

ADDITION: Now that the photos would be sent to you, I say it looks more like an injury, he rubbed his mouth against the gravel (at least in the photo a second time seen - the main subject s' is not clear, but you get a better look at the white spot on the first photo). This is something that the goldfish at the root does not happen, the substrate in search of food that could be lost. His gravel (stones) ornaments should be rounded edges so sharp that there is nothing that the fish can just scrape in his attempt from the mouths of these objects. For now, I always went to the original recommendation of salt, as this could helpprevent fungus from attacking the region. Stay informed about changes in water so that the risk of infection is low, and keep an eye on him now.
